Our Government Relations team in Brussels is looking for an intern for 6 to 8 months, in order to provide support and analysis to strengthen our contribution to policy debates in the EU arena.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to develop practical experience of the EU public policy environment. The role is ideally suited to a recent graduate who has completed a traineeship at an EU institution. Some experience in, and understanding of, the EU security, transportation, healthcare and energy sectors is also desirable, but not essential.

Duties
Providing support to the team by performing administrative
tasks and office management duties;
Monitoring news, events and policy developments;
Assisting in research projects, focusing on EU
developments/initiatives/legislation that could impact on our businesses and
operations;
Contributing to the analysis of relevant
proposals/legislation in order to prepare company/industry positions;
Preparing draft reports, studies and meeting notes.
Qualifications
Good understanding of EU policy-making and EU institutions;
University or advanced degree in relevant field;
Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English, an
additional EU language an asset;
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills;
Positive attitude as a flexible team player.
Conditions
We envisage the internship to be a full-time, remunerated
position for a period of 6 to 8 months, starting as soon as possible.
