What is it about?
The British Council Brussels is looking for a new intern to
work with the EU team, supporting our EU advocacy work.
2015 is an important year on the European development
agenda, and the British Council is seeking to contribute to the debate through
a number of high level advocacy events. The internship will involve providing
logistical support for these events, as well as research, monitoring of policy
initiatives and developments at EU level, preparation of documents, web content
and editing, internal/external communications, and other ad hoc support tasks.
Additionally, the successful applicant will contribute to
the EU team's efforts to provide insights into European Affairs to colleagues
across the British Council's global network. As such, knowledge of and interest
in the EU institutions is highly desirable.

What does it cost?
This is a paid internship for a fixed term of 6 months
(approx. € 750/month).
When is the deadline?
The deadline for applications is midnight on Sunday 22 March
2015. Interviews are likely to take place on the 30th or 31st March in Brussels
or via Skype, with the successful applicant to begin as soon as possible after
that.
