German Speaking Trainee Lawyer/Referendar/Intern

Our busy Brussels office seeks a German native speaking Trainee Lawyer/Referendar/Intern with either Swiss, German, or Austrian background, preferably combined with a EU law background to support its Financial Services and Trade Group.

You should be able to express yourself clearly and concisely in German and English (both written and orally). Fluency in other languages would be an advantage.

The successful candidate should be available for four months or longer. She or he will be a good team-player who can also work independently when required. On the job training and mentoring is provided to all our young lawyers. In addition to client projects, our lawyers are expected to actively participate in marketing and business development initiatives. Compensation will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience. Our offer is subject to a trial period.

copies of certificates for each educational or vocational qualification (including grades achieved);

and two recent German writing samples of your own work.
