Available to students with an ERASMUS+ scholarship grant
We are a not-for-profit based in Brussels working in the
fields of media literacy and active citizenship and we are searching for an
intern to assist us in a number of areas in our day to day operations,
including;
handling administrative tasks, such as order
processing, and act as an extension of the project team when
representatives are away from the office
representatives are away from the office
providing a point of contact for external stakeholders
answering/directing phone calls and taking messages as needed
scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements
and distributing mail; producing routine documents using word processing
and spreadsheet software;
performing routine data entry operation
assisting with project applications
supporting the secretary general with reports, admin
and grants management
attending conferences, seminars, workshops and the
European Parliament as a representative of EAVI
research articles for the website, researching
and sharing relevant content on our social media channels
We work in English but any knowledge of French will be
beneficial. The role would suit a diligent, proactive student living
in Brussels with an interest in Media and European affairs.
IMPORTANT: In accordance with the European
Charter for Quality Internships and Apprenticeships (www.qualityinternships.eu), we
will only accept applications from young people who can show that they receive
financial support (Erasmus placement, regional grants or other
national/international scholarship programmes) or who need to carry out an
internship as integral part of their University degrees.
The role duration is 3-6 months – subject to your
availability this can be negotiated.
