Administrative Assistant Intern

REHVA, the Federation of European Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning Associations is a European umbrella organization representing more than 100 000 engineers from 26 countries. REHVA is dedicated to the improvement of health, comfort and energy efficiency in all buildings and communities.
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day secretariat and office management tasks as well as the financial and administrative management of EU-funded projects. This is an entry level position. It would be an ideal first step for a career in business administration, NGO management, and financial project management.
Main task
Assistance in general office administration and accounting
Assistance in the preparation of financial reports and time sheets for EU-funded projects
Development and maintenance of contact lists
Content management of the company websites
Administration and organization of travel arrangements
Assistance to events management, contact with suppliers
Assistance to membership and client management
Ad-hoc secretarial tasks
Qualifications and skills
At least BA degree in economics, business administration or in another relevant field
Excellent spoken and written English and good French skills
High level of computer competency, advanced MS Excel user skills
Accuracy, we seek a highly organized person
Multi-tasking and problem solving skills
Good communication, and business correspondence skills
What we offer
Starting your carrier in a small team of an EU level stakeholder organisation.  This is an intern position with a 6-month term, renewable contract under Belgian law with a gross monthly salary of 800 EUR. Fringe benefits such as meal cheques are granted.
