Your primary tasks will be to:

Qualifications
You have a natural ability to discover customer requirements in a conversational manner and a genuine care to fulfill these needs – superior service is paramount for you. As you will be interacting with some of our most discriminating clients it is paramount that you are comfortable dealing with affluent and demanding customers. The right candidate must have minimum 2 years of experience in high-end and/or luxury retail sales with a successful sales track record. A genuine care for our clients along with an outgoing and approachable personality and good communication skills are needed to succeed in this position.
A general understanding of the latest entertainment technologies and basic IT knowledge is a plus. We offer a challenging job in which you will be responsible for developing service documentation for Bang & Olufsen products. All service materials are written in English and then translated, so your ability to communicate technical issues in a clear and translatable form is essential. We take pride in the fact that we develop service instructions with the same high quality as our products. It is important to us that service technicians have the tools they need to be able to effectively service the customer's product – either in the customer's home or in the workshop. We use a combination of illustrations and text, which means you need to be able to work creatively with text and graphics.
Your Service Communication tasks will primarily involve developing and implementing documentation for software-intensive products in the Bang & Olufsen range. Familiarity with software issues and information and network technologies will therefore be a clear advantage. You will be responsible for the entire process of updating this material. We therefore expect you to have a technical electronics and/or software background, so that you can process the material, extract the essentials, and rewrite it as technical service and installation material. In the future we want more of our documentation to be published online, use interactive elements, and be available via various PC tools. If you have experience developing these types of materials it will be a clear advantage. As our work is inter-disciplinary and project oriented, you will come into contact with colleagues from all parts of the organisation, not just Global Service.
Qualifications
You have a relevant technical education, such as an electronic technician, radio and television technician, radio mechanic, electronic engineer or similar.
You have professional experience developing or using technical service documentation for technically complex products. You write clearly and concisely, and can communicate effectively combining text and images. You are familiar with the use of InDesign and Illustrator or similar programs.
You may even have Pro/E experience.
You may have practical experience troubleshooting and servicing audio/video products.
You can communicate in English.
Familiarity with Bang & Olufsen products would be a big advantage.
You are a skilled planner and are able to see your tasks through to completion.
You can work independently as well as in collaboration with others across professional disciplines
