ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with Office of Institutional Research and Assessment staff to spec-out and execute customization of existing reports or creation of new reports
Contribute as a team member in proactively developing methods for capturing, storing, & reporting critical student, faculty, and alumni metrics
Automate manual processes as directed as well as seek out these opportunities and proactively make improvements
Support the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment by ensuring superior data quality
Support Office of Institutional Research and Assessment as needed
TECHNICAL, MANAGERIAL, and PEOPLE SKILLS REQUIRED:
Proficient with the Microsoft products (Excel, Access, SharePoint)
Experience working with distributive reporting tools (Cognos, Crystal Reports, Hyperion) a plus
Experience with SQL, VBA, or similar programming language
Experience with web-based survey software a plus
Able to abide by FERPA and HR compliance rules
Demonstrated data analysis skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree required, or near completion, in field related to job expectations
Coursework/experience in research methods and statistical analysis is helpful
Demonstrated advanced Excel and Access knowledge.
Demonstrated experience with statistical software, such as SPSS and Tableau preferred
Demonstrated ability to work with relational databases.
