Gini Foundation Grants for Foreign Students in Italy, 2016-2017

Gini Foundation is awarding grants for foreign students for a period of at least six months. Grants are assigned to study and/or specialization at departments of the University of Padova in the scientific fields of Agriculture, Engineering or Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences.
The aim of the Gini Foundation grants is to enable and encourage academically able Foreign Students.
The University of Padua is a premier Italian university located in the city of Padua, Italy. The University of Padua was founded in 1222 as a school of law and was one of the most prominent universities in early modern Europe.
Applicants must have a Master of Science degree from a foreign University
Course Level: Grants are available to pursue a period of study and/or specialization (at least six months) at departments of the University of Padova.
Study Subject: Grants are assigned to study and/or specialization at departments of the University of Padova in the scientific fields of Agriculture, Engineering or Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences.

Scholarship Award: The amount of each grant will not be more than Euro 11,000.00 gross, including travel costs. The amount of the grant is divided into 3 instalments. The final instalment, equal to 10% of the total amount of the grant, will be paid only after the presentation of a written evaluation by the supervising Professor at the University of Padova and a report of the activities carried out, which must be accompanied by a declaration of attendance by the hosting Department

Eligibility: Criteria is
The grants are assigned to support, for a period of not more than one year, those who plan to pursue a period of study and/or specialization at Departments of the University of Padova in the scientific fields of Agriculture, Engineering or Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences for a period of at least six months. For the available Departments refer to the list attached.
Foreign nationals who may apply for the grants must be less than 35 years old at the closing date for the call and hold a Master of Science degree from a foreign University in subjects pertaining to the scientific fields of Agriculture, Engineering or Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences.
Nationality: Foreign nationals can apply for these grants.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have a Master of Science degree from a foreign University in subjects pertaining to the scientific fields of Agriculture, Engineering or Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences.
Test Requirement: No
English Language Requirements: Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.
How to Apply: The mode of applying is by post. Required documents are:
Curriculum vitae in European format
Notification of any contributions obtained for activities of study and/or research from which the candidate might benefit during the period of the grant.
A copy of Master of Science certificates with information on the examinations taken and relative marks.
The detailed programme of the studies or research to be carried out.
Declaration of acceptance by the supervising Professor countersigned by the Director of the hosting Department.
Declaration of adequate knowledge of the English language.
Any other useful credentials
Copy of passport
