The European Health Management Association (EHMA) is
a membership organisation that that aims to build the capacity and raise the
quality of health management in Europe. We have 170 members across more than 30
countries in the WHO region and beyond, bringing together the research, policy,
and management communities. Our members range from hospitals to universities,
from ministries of health to primary care providers, from management education
schools to consultancies.
EHMA is looking for an ICT Intern who is both knowledgeable
and interested in IT support and website management, as we are in the process
of revitalising and updating our website while also expanding our Microsoft
SharePoint/Cloud based systems.
Duties:
Website building and management (Drupel & WordPress)
Managing and expanding Microsoft SharePoint sites
Design and implementation of website IT architecture and
systems
Technical support for the office in terms of software and
hardware issues as they arise
Required skills and experience:
Degree/Certificate in or relating to computer science or IT
support, or a current student in the field
Proficient in written and spoken English (other European
languages are an added bonus)
Experience with website building and website management
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint sites
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint)
Additional skills and experience (not essential but highly
valuable):
Knowledge of both Drupel & WordPress
Knowledge of office hardware such as Wi-Fi routers and
connections, printers, and computers
Prior experience as a website builder or manager
Attitude:
Motivated, eager, and passionate about IT and website
management
Multitasker who takes initiative and can work independently
Communicator and positive team player
This internship will run for three months from January to
April 2016 with the option of a further 3 month extension. Please note this is
not a salaried position, but EHMA offers a small stipend designed to cover
subsistence costs. Candidates must be eligible to work in Belgium.
