EUROPEAN CONFEDERATION OF INSTITUTES OF INTERNAL AUDITING (ECIIA): MARKETING & COMMUNICATION INTERN

Who are we ?
The European Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditing (ECIIA) is the voice of the internal auditors in Europe.  ECIIA mission is to be the consolidated voice for the profession of internal auditing in Europe by dealing with the European Union, its Parliament and Commission and any other appropriate institution of influence and to present and develop the internal audit profession and good corporate governance in Europe. We do this through networking, advocacy, committees and events. (eciia.eu)
What are we looking for?
We offer an internship to support the work and the development of ECIIA. The position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a small team of motivated professional association executives in a European environment. We look for a dynamic and friendly English speaking student with a marketing degree or similar experience in one or several of the following areas: communication, social media, website, events organisation, marketing and collaboration tools. The position requires a good sense of organisation, priorities and autonomy and is based in Brussels. The position might require some travelling in Europe.
Main tasks
Internal and External communication
Manage overall communication with our members and our stakeholders through the different communication channels that we use:
Website: Review the website and propose changes to make it more attractive and impactful
Social Media: Lead and coordinate the social media campaign to boost our social media penetration (twitter, …)
Collaboration tool: implement Workplace to exchange with the members
Newsletter: Review and propose changes to the format and preparation of the newsletter
Contacts: Review the database
Press: Manage press relations and issue press releases, arranging interviews (develop press kits conveying positions on policies and issues)
  Implement a Project Management Tool for all the Committees (Trello)
Events
Automate the registration process
Assist with marketing and sponsorship activities
Profile:
Degree or experience in communication, marketing, IT Tool implementation
Excellent Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, PM tool, collaboration tool)
Language skills: English, French (Other languages are a definite plus)
Good organisation skills, flexible, dynamic, self-motivated and innovative, multi-tasking professional with a can-do attitude
